What customers say
Rated 4.9 from 87 jobs, earned one job at a time.
A handful of the 87 reviews Jack has picked up around Perth's northern suburbs. No two jobs the same; the follow-up is.
Rang Jack on a Sunday when half the house lost power and he talked me through killing the main before he'd even left home. Turned out to be a cooked switchboard. Had us safe that afternoon and the full board replaced by Tuesday. Told me the price up front and that's what I paid.
Got a few quotes for an EV charger and Jack was the only one who actually checked whether our board could handle it first. Ended up needing a small upgrade, which he explained without the sales spin. Neat work and he tidied up after himself.
We still had the old ceramic fuses and no safety switches. Jack swapped the lot for a proper RCD board and added downlights through the living area while he was at it. On time both days, and the compliance certificate came through by email the same week.
Easiest tradie experience we have had. Texted a few photos of the meter box, got a call back the same day, fixed price, done. No call-out surprises at the end.
Had Jack out for flickering lights and a power point that kept tripping. He found a dodgy connection the last electrician missed, made it safe and showed me exactly what was going on. Fair price for the fault finding.
Good sparky and a straight shooter. Only reason it is four stars is he ran a bit behind on the first morning, but he called ahead to let me know and the work itself was spot on. Interconnected smoke alarms right through the house.
North of the river, on the road daily.
Based in Osborne Park, servicing 15+ suburbs from Wembley up to Joondalup. Not sure if you're in the zone? Ask. The van covers a fair bit of ground.
Are you a licensed electrician?
Yes. Copperjack Electrical is a licensed WA electrical contractor (licence EC 00000), fully insured. Every job is left certified and compliant to the AS/NZS 3000 wiring rules.
Do you do emergency call-outs?
Yes, seven days a week. Power outages, tripping circuits, burning smells, exposed or sparking wiring. If it is unsafe, switch off the main at the meter box, keep clear, and call us.
Which areas do you cover?
We're based in Osborne Park and cover Perth's northern suburbs, from the coast to Joondalup and back in towards Yokine.
My switchboard still has ceramic fuses. Should I upgrade?
Older fuse boards often lack safety switches (RCDs) and struggle with modern loads. We upgrade to a compliant, RCD-protected switchboard and explain the cost upfront before any work begins.
Can you install an EV charger at home?
Yes. We assess your switchboard and load capacity, then install a dedicated, compliant circuit for your home EV charger.
How do quotes work?
We give a clear quote before starting so there are no surprises. Send a few details through the form or give us a call and we will talk through the job and the price.
Do you guarantee your work?
Yes. Every job comes with a 12-month workmanship guarantee, on top of the manufacturer warranties on any parts we supply. If something we have installed is not right, we come back and make it right. And the work is left tested and certified to AS/NZS 3000.
Why do your reviews say you turn up on time?
Because we do. A 4.9-star rating across 87 jobs comes from showing up when we say we will, doing it once, and leaving the place tidy. That's the whole job.
How much does an electrician cost in Perth?
As a guide, licensed electricians around Perth typically charge $90–$140 an hour, with most small jobs falling in a predictable range. We give you a clear, fixed price before we start rather than an open-ended hourly rate. See our pricing guide for typical figures.
